Portland Button Club

The Portland Button Club was formed in 1942 to enable button collectors and enthusiasts to meet together on a monthly basis to learn about and study various kinds of buttons and share their knowledge with each other through mini presentations.

Today, the PBC continues its goal with monthly meetings.  Meetings occur on the 3rd Saturday of each month from September to May.   An exception being in December when the club celebrates with a holiday party and button exchange.

Our meeting place is at the Marquis Community Center  19805 SW Boones Ferry Road, Tualatin, Oregon 97062

     See map below for directions.

Each meeting begins with a general meet and chat time at 9:30, then a business meeting starting at 10 AM.   After a brief break, an educational program about buttons is presented with an up-close look at the featured buttons and a question-and-answer session.   At the close of the meeting, there is usually a person or persons selling buttons as well.

Hot and cold beverages as well as some pastries, sandwiches and salads are available at the Marquis Cafe in the community center.
